But yeah, it's more of a half hour job on a Sunday. Although I've heard old school tales of people knocking up huge batches, storing it in a kitchen drawer and taking slices for packed lunches for about a week.
I think this was in Grace Dents biography, recalling the way her grandfather made porridge. Made a batch for the week in the drawer, normally a few beetles in it come the last couple of days.
