Noids are from gp surgeries or a and e (usually a walk in). You usually see them when you've got gastro infections, there's a whole list of them, so you go the gp, they do the test and also notify (sometimes by fax!) https://www.gov.uk/guidance/notifiable-diseases-and-causative-organisms-how-to-report
Because of lab testing we didn't see so many.
