Had my virtual 5km race with my brothers yesterday. Very windy and my usual route round Tooting Common was very muddy so had to improvise. Some hard headwind sections. Though since my brother was doing it in Norwich I guess I shouldn't complain about wind. Set out too fast into the headwind with a 3.47 first km and it fell apart from there really.
I got a rather fitting PB of 20.20, and my brother smashed it and got 19.40.
Still v happy as I'd not had the most disciplined lead up to the "race". Something to aim for in 2021
