first pair i got (brand new) had a leak (common on the first few models apparently; same experience for a guy in my cycling club). they are also really chunky compared to newer iterations

I had a caliper that leaked, took 10min to replace and new one just keeps going.
I know you specifically said you didn’t want them, but this site is selling 785’s for €199

Really? I've got 785s on two bikes and 8070s on two bikes, and while the 785s are a bit large and chonkeh, I've never had any issues with them functionally. And they were cheeeeeep.
