Angle grinder would be easiest then reshape..

I'm after a starter set of knives. I don't have a big budget just after something reliable dont really want a dozen knives either just the minimum, I thinking bread paring and chopping.

Any recommendations?

The Victorinox Fibrox are great value kitchen knives.

Not sure about the other types but I find the Victorinox bread knife a bit too flexy for firmer bread.

They appear to have got more expensive of late.

Weird question but thought the hive mind might be able to give me a solid answer. My friend wants to buy a knife but they are more easily available on this side of the Atlantic. Can I buy one and send it over to him or am I breaking laws?

I'm sure I've seen some secateur chat in here before. I'm thinking of getting the Nikawi Mainichi for my girlfriend for Christmas. Is there anything else worth looking at for trimming house plants? Max budget £50 and looking nice is just as important as working well!

Also worth saying that for the intended use, you probably just need something "not shit" so I'd probably just scroll through sites that sell them looking for something you think they'll like the look of.

The niwaki tobisho secateurs are lovely. Gave my wife a pair last Christmas and she thinks they are brilliant.

If I am ever found dead of multiple stab wounds it may be my own fault, she has received a gransfors brucks axe, Michael May penknife, secateurs and this year a couple of fedeca it’s my knife kits.

Does anyone know why you use scissors for bonsai rather than secateurs?

Also does anyone have any recommendations for cheap, but not shit ones? Amazon is a nightmare for finding this sort of thing and I'm not sure if I'm being unnecessarily up sold by the bougie websites.
