The teenagers I speak to say they are in a bubble at school and therefore there is no need to wear masks or keep their distance from the rest of their year. They can't spread out in class, the canteen, etc even if they wanted to.
13 student and 5 staff positive tests in my daughters school last term.
It's easy to say "yeah it's kids!", I think there's more to play here. If it is kids, which ones? What are their parents doing ? Etc and so on.
It's also, bubbles in schools don't work. You can see it when school is over. The children all mix again with their siblings and oh look, when their parents chat, new kids from different year bubbles and different schools.
