I did have them bent a little at the end to match the plane of the top mounts exactly. I think they're solid so will take some adjustment without weakening.

The only tedious thing about this conversation are the flabberghasted folk who jUsT cAnNoT believe drop bars this wide should (or do) exist and continuously pester the rest of us about it.
-
• #14954
Exactly.
-
• #14955
I'm still waiting for some 800mm butterfly bars
-
• #14956
What I'm taking from this is I should, a) shut up or b) try some wide bar drop bars then come back with some constructive criticism

All the very confused people who lap up "trends" to be cool

• #14961
anyone with that sort of upper body definition needs to stick to triathlon

• #14962
I immediately feel better about my winter hibernation flubber suit
-
• #14963
what's "triathlon" please ?
-
• #14964
Maybe try a little bit of column A, and a little bit of column B.
If you like them, great! If you don’t like them, great!
-
• #14965
Yes, I’m sorry we should all adhere to bar width “trends” from 30 years ago to be insufferable handlebar narcs.
-
• #14966
Love this.
Also love wide drop off road, it’s just stupid on a flat commute by pretending to be the Cutty Sark.
-
• #14967
Honestly, you have won me over by using "Narcs".
However....????!
-
• #14968
Actually that’s a point.
Back during the Apocalypse of 2008, we all insist on narrow bar being the bestestest.

Shout out to the absolute dudes commuting on 23c and look keos
Top infos. Cheers. It’s nice, versatile looking setup.
My reservation about buying a Tubus are the stays are aluminium (which I think I’d need the twist for my frame).
