can you get thinner diameter mains cables and RCA
Use the correct mains cable for the equipment. If the equipment is double insulated, flat 2-core is smaller overall than round. RCA cables can easily be <4mm OD, the super fat "audiophile" ones are a marginal gain you're probably going to have to do without. The easiest speaker wire to fit into conduit will be two single cores rather than a two-core cable. Thin-walled LV cable like this will carry 200W into 8Ω even in the smallest 0.5mm² size
I put some 20mm conduit in to connect up various pieces of equipment either side of a chimney breast. Now I've put it in I'm a bit concerned that it's not thick enough (too late to change now) so am pondering narrow cables.
In particular can you get thinner diameter mains cables and RCA. Ideally I want to fit RCA cable to turntable, mains cable and 2x speaker wire which could be a push. Any tips?
