Have to say, I weathered 2020 pretty well considering but the current covid situation has nudged me into a level of anxiety and apprehension that I had so far avoided.

it's worrying because we're as cautious as we can possibly be short of nailing wooden planks over the doors and windows and yet still this muck is getting up people's shnozzes.

I guess what I'm getting at is that if closing the borders is futile, then so is pretty much everything short of a total China-style lockdown and permanently closed borders.

I’m starting to feel similar although have had waves of it throughout. After a few boozy days I’m getting straight back onto the fitness wagon, running everyday and will focus on the variables I can control. I can see the labs I work in shutting down again if this strain spreads as easily as they have been saying, at least for a while.
