Tying myself in knots over this. I know the Shimano answer is 'no', but...
I've got a broken R3000 RD that I want to replace with an Ultegra 6700 (because I have one lying around and I'm pinching pennies).
I think the Ultegra derailleur should play nicely with the 9 speed R3000 shifters, as the cable pull ratio is the same(?), but am I misinterpreting?
