I like the second one. Kinda painterly.

Why are they so wavy (see the horizon in the second pic for example) - twisted neg while scanning?

Can anyone recommend a decent non extortionate neg scanner? 35mm and medium format

You had a wider negative with 6x9 no?

I think its a quirk of the moving lens. Unless the horizon is dead centre in the frame that will happen. Heres a more extreme example

Maybe slightly, but this has a 28, rather than the GWs 90mm. Also 35mm film in medium format cameras is pointless

..ah yea, forgot that it was one of those moving-lens types, cheers.

Anyone got a darkroom easel going spare? For 8x10 max.

Also tried using my cheap flatbed scanner and a white screen on my phone on some negatives but it really wasn't up to the job.

I pushed HP5 to 6400 for no reason .. well grey day, indoor and pentax 67.

1+50 Rodinal at 52 min (!!) not much agitation.

iphone scan; waiting on macro lens to arrive.

I was surprised how fine the results are even at that much push, I think I will agitate less next time.

I am in love with taking photos again, I am going to do some evening long exposure stuff, found a nice 12 ISO film.

Also; all other pics in that roll are of my partner and kid so dont want to share in public.

Good point removed pics of family as amey has wierded me out.
