Don’t have any photos of its construction but it’s basically a four foot high stud wall which was a lot cheaper than reinstalling banisters

If the wall height is over 1000mm then building control will ask for a separate handrail, or is it under 4'?

No idea never measured it or bothered building control. I may measure it after eating chocolate and watching cx, pretty sure it’s well under a metre.

Under 4’ actually roughly 3’.
