Think I'd go mehteh if I was inclined to do the same, much closer to the Kepler in design and I mainly commute on the thing with a bit of gravgrav and bikepacking thrown in, big bro is cool but more like an MTB.

They’re awesome to ride, we had one at around 7.5kg.

Not sure it’s worth the price tag compare to says, Trek Checkpoint carbon.

Lighter weight is? Not an end goal but it helps. As for the rest, geometry is not everything, and the Kepler is very much on the touring side of things, no?

I have done a few hundred kms on an U.P. and it's a fantastic frame, I didn't want to hand it back. I do wish there was a cheaper, aluminium equivalent.

That's the problem I find with gravel frames, the alu model tend to be on the porkier side than a carbon gravel which can weight as much as a road-racing disc bike.

I would simply ride my bike and enjoy it, taking steps to re-evaluate my moral frame work in believing a few grams weight saving, a degree to geometry will somehow change my interaction with a hobby i enjoy, looking to avoid the endless pursuit of consumption of new and different experiences and instead, become comfortable with what I own :)

The only "light" gravel frame I found was the now discontinued Vitus Energie CX (a Cross bike, but slack and massive clearances, 1200gr claimed). Canyon and Cannondale topstone should be decent too.
TBF unless you go mad expensive like OPEN with weenie bits most carbon gravel bikes aren't that light. 9kg for an Exploro with good Mavic wheels and Shimano GRX 810 1X.

I have always worn endura stretch urban shorts, lived in them for about 5 years but now they are impossible to find (medium of anyone has a pair)

Last pair split yesterday, ordered some morvelo ones as down to £63 on wiggle and I get free next day post...

Sizing is a bit out so they are going back, but now back to £90!!??

Fee very comfortable, but no belt loops and are very thin, cannot imagine they will last like the enduras.

Must be black / dark, stretchy, not mega bucks, no graphics, good for on and off the bike

I'm still wearing my 10 year old Endura stuff. They've been "shot in the butt ocks" a few times and patched by my better half. Like everything else, they've probably tripled in price since I bought them and I'll baulk when it comes to their replacement.

Actually, just found the email, bought my second pair of Hummvee in 2006 so they're at least 14 years old and the third pair that I'm literally wearing now was Endura Singletrack II 3-4 Shorts Black, L Now £54.86 so they don't seem that much more expensive (Hummvee now £65 on Endura's site)
