If it's a 2 day job for a couple of decorators with a bit of patching that sounds about right. Depending on location.
For anyone who's embarking on a lot of work the Spon's books can be very useful. Gives pretty accurate estimates of time/materials for jobs and also describes the correct procedure in most cases. I have copies of Finishings and Minor Works, Alterations & Repairs. The estimates check out with 30 years of experience. I use it sometimes if I'm unsure about a price or the length of time something is taking. I've not used them much recently!
