So our contractor just casually tried to increase our decorating bill by 20% purely because we had dado rail installed in two rooms and the hallway.
Site manager didn't mention it when we discussed the installation of the dado rail, only once it was up.
I questioned it but they are sticking to their guns and said they were happy for us to get other quotes for the work if we didn't want to pay it.
