I'm using an extension cable with ours. I did go for a thicker gauge wire though which was an absolute pig to route. 1.5mm I think.
It's seems to not be getting hot, so I'm even less worried now. It's a condenser.
@gillies do what BobbyBriggs suggests and make your own. It'll be neater.
