Anyone got experience with a dog ‘mouthing’? We’ve done a couple of walking sessions with said mutt and next session is to witness/ experience the above.
What do you mean by mouthing? Just being a bit bitey?
Odie has always been a bit of a mouther. When he was a small puppy and had needle teeth, my hands were a mess! He’s gradually just got better and now (8months) doesn’t really do it much at all.
Mouthing is pretty common in dogs I've known (particularly Airedales, for some reason) - they just grab your wrist, with no pressure, when they're happy or excited. Haven't ever seen it long-term, yelping, acting hurt and telling them 'No' firmly has sorted it out.
Sounds appealing this dog re-homing lark!
