What's the current water filtration method of choice?

Sounds like people on here are not totally impressed by Peak Water.

The water is off the scales in hardness here.

I use BWT with the pink cartridges. Seems fine. Kettle doesn't have any lime in it after about a year's usage.

It's not as good as custom water or high end RO or whatever but it's also a lot fucking cheaper.

I've actually never heard of BWT, is it better/cheaper than Brita? I find the Brita filters to be quite expensive for how long they last (London)
