  • Small person size. Black.

  • OK.
I've been using this as my turbo bike for at least a year, I can't remember the last time I rode it outside. Especially in 2020...
I've "raced" it up hills, in a TT or two, once at Hillingdon (I fell off). There are a few scuffs and scrapes, a couple of paint chips. I can't see anything I've been too concerned about.

I'm not fishing, the bike is doing nothing and not getting used. Because it's not getting used and it's just hanging up in the shed and the shed is rammed, my thoughts were : sell it, sell the powertap, buy either a disc powertap for my cross bike/direct drive trainer. If it's not going to help significantly towards the planned purchases, I'll strip it down to 1 * 10 for turbo training times.

  • Although 99% of my riding time is commuting in the cold/wet/dark, I am loving my synapse.

  • Nice gravel bike.

  • it now looks like a Bad Boy

  • Saddle >>>>>> Anti

  • I've just realised, I haven't worded my previous post well.
Explicitly: what's my frame, forks, etc but not groupset worth?

  • Would you consider selling?

  • Still waiting on a few bits, but it's currently rideable and it's a rocket. Rebuilt my caad12 as a "fast" bike again. Was a bit of a nightmare getting rid of the orange paint. Filled in the TT dent and spent a little time painting it. I quite like it stealthy! (yet another boring bike) Sorry for the crap pics. Will take better ones at some point.

  • Ngl I was hoping for big things when I saw it stripped. Disappointed you went full stealth

    Does still look rad though

  • Well, by the look of it all his other bikes are the same so it's a nice change.

  • Still have some vinyl coming! Going Godandfamous paincave polkadot on the rear triangle! Really wanted to try out the wheels so just built it up.

  • Forgot how fast and fun this thing can be. Might switch out the seatpost as zipp now offer 25.4 carbon seatposts! Will do so in the future as it's excessive. Going to strip it down again at the new year, touch up paint spots (dropped it. 3 TIMES) lay the new vinyl stickers and will protective coat. So stoked on this bike right now! Quite like how riding something else makes you fall in love all over again.

  • Tidy

  • Is the Jagwire Link stuff worth it?

  • Thank you!

For the rear brake - definitely. No matter what I did, the rear brake would always feel quite crap and spongy. It's now equal to the front brake in terms of feel! Quite nice. And the shifting is smoooth. If replacing, you just need the inner lining stuff really. I was gifted 10 meters of the stuff from a friend. Feels like an investment that's worth it. (Not an #AD I promise)

  • You got a UK source for G&F bar tape dude or they just ship it over to you especially?

  • so good. my caad12 is tame in comparison but that frame is a workhorse.

can i just say those cadex logos are terrible on anything above 40mm deep ?

  • That’s exactly the problem I have on my supersix. And that’s exactly what I wanted to hear.

  • Very nice, assuming it's quite a different ride to the Stayer? If it's a 52 I'd definitely be interested in the (CAAD) frameset if you ever decide to move it on.

  • Very specific question, but does anyone know if the Topstone fork (12mm Thru) will accept larger end caps a la DT Swiss 240 15mm? I'm wondering if I can get away with using a 15-12mm tube adaptor rather than buying the pricy end caps.

  • My CAAD12 is likely going to be up for sale in the not too distant future. Offering up here for the Cannondale lovers to express interest before I pop it in the classifieds in a week or so. Done about 1k on it since I purchased it here in feb last year.

    It's a CAAD12 and it's PURPLE. Buy it.

    What you'll get;
Frame (58) + Fork (Steerer is chopped with slam cover and 10mm of spacers iirc).
    Headset + SI bung.
    BB - Token 24mm & BB30a also.
    C2 carbon seatpost
    Seat clamp
    C3 42cm bars
    SKS raceblade mudguards
    Owners manual

Fancy ENVE 25.4 Seatpost and BNIB Token bb available via negotiation.

Only thing to note; you'll need a new BB cover if running it with an old fashioned cable actuated groups - i butchered the current one for di2 routing ease. They're £6.99, in fact i'll order one.

Shit pic, it's raining and dark - it's the only one i have with the steerer chopped. Sorry!
