..frankly it won't be that much of a pain while shooting, but it will certainly sting your wallet if you don't get it right.
It's certainly possible to shoot meter-less - when you're smart / experienced, and use forgiving film, in the right circumstances (read: lots of light / stable light situations).
But forget it if you like to shoot slides, if you have tricky lighting situations, if you're inexperienced with shooting film. -
Meterless and small hotshoe mount meter is what I run, honestly you hardly notice it. Meter anytime the lighting changes massively, bit of guesswork which you get used to quickly and you hardly notice the difference.

Had been eyeing up the cle! Still torn as to whether I'd be happy going meterless tbh. I swing between oh that sounds fun and romantic and Christ that'll be a pain at times.
