  • Had been eyeing up the cle! Still torn as to whether I'd be happy going meterless tbh. I swing between oh that sounds fun and romantic and Christ that'll be a pain at times.

  • ..frankly it won't be that much of a pain while shooting, but it will certainly sting your wallet if you don't get it right.

    It's certainly possible to shoot meter-less - when you're smart / experienced, and use forgiving film, in the right circumstances (read: lots of light / stable light situations).
    But forget it if you like to shoot slides, if you have tricky lighting situations, if you're inexperienced with shooting film.

  • Meterless and small hotshoe mount meter is what I run, honestly you hardly notice it. Meter anytime the lighting changes massively, bit of guesswork which you get used to quickly and you hardly notice the difference.
