Good info on those chainrings, I’ve seen a couple of those come and go on Ebay and been tempted.

Turns out Aluvac chainrings are cheap rubbish, I had total mechanical failure coming up Black heath hill on my way home from work. See photo for disintegrated chainring, it's only a couple months old.
