Thanks, will check with the lady that has the taste.

Anyone have any experience with Hay or Muuto sofas (specifically the Hay Silhouette or Muuto Outline)?
I thought both looked great in person but have no idea how they’ll wear. Second-hand Hay sofa’s on eBay etc always seem to look battered

Hay sofas are great, very hard wearing.

Ahhhhhhhhh thanks man... have a poor Habitat version and just bought the lounge chair (in green!) from Haus on black Friday.
It's very tempting but was only really after the lounge chairs (for the patio bit by the house). -

What would be a suitable lampshade to fit this stand? The one in the picture just seems wrong (and I don't particulalrly like it either).

If you can find one large enough, the spun fibreglass ones look quite nice. Would suit the rocket-like base.

Habitat kura maybe ? or a traditional tapered shade - upside down - to oppose the angle of the legs.

Who makes the best sticky felt pads for the bottom of chair legs? 3M, Scotch...?

I recently did the chairs in my kitchen with some thick suede I salvaged. Got a box of offcuts if you want me to post you some

No more nails as I had some to hand.

Any suggestions for nice-but-not-pricey bathroom cabinets?

Vanity unit or wall cabinet?

Unhelpful but I had my wall cabinets made. For the size I wanted it worked out a tiny bit more expensive than the equivalently sized IKEA one but had the plus of being exactly to my spec and cheaper than the fancy ones out there.

Wall cabinet, either mirrored to go above the sink or like a medicine cabinet. I've got separate mirrors and wall cabinets at the moment and the mirrors are fine but the medicine cabinets are horrible so could go either way.

Vitra Integra could be an option
*interesting candle placement...

Nice, but a bit large and a bit pricey. Disappointingly the much smaller version is only a little cheaper.

Tbf this isn’t a bad shout - a lot of the cabinetry people I follow make nice stuff. And tbh custom stuff is rarely that much more that otp considering you get exactly what you want

At the end of the day they’re simple boxes either built into or hung on a wall. You don’t need someone particularly fancy to bash one together. Based on my builder’s experience the trickiest bit is getting the mirror stuck to the hinges.

I just bought one from Artforma. The quality is great and the website gives you tons of options. They’re all custom made so take a few weeks to arrive.

They look great but I want something I can hang on the wall myself, which means no electrics. Seemingly they don't do any without lights

Nice rug for under £500? Made have quite a selection but quality is so hit and miss.
Want it gone so will take 50 quid
