I've just checked tax, mot and insurance. It's described as a VW Beetle Allegro. That explains the bandy back wheels. There's a VW bus on the drive.

@Constable_Savage If it is registered VW Beetle Allegro they may have made the kit car using the Beetle chassis and running gear, easy to lower by reconfiguring the splined spring set up.
But Allegro of all things they were nicknamed 'All Aggro' for a reason :)
