Altra Timp 2 are a brilliant trail shoe
And they don’t give out dog whistle subliminal messages indicating the wearers love for the spin doctors like Hoka trail shoes do.
Haven't tried those but they look pretty good.
The Lone Peak 3.5 saved my feet in Utah and I also picked up the Torin 2.5 on sale a few years back - tremendously ugly but pillowy goodness abounds.
