I can appreciate that the proponents of brexit don't want to be tied into EU regulatory systems.

And yet, in my experience, are singularly unable to identify any EU Regulation that they actually think it either unnecessary or fundamentally wrong.

The issue is that the EU regulations are fundamentally right and the UK government doesn't want to be forced to maintain either current or future standards.

But yeah on the whole most regulations benefit most people.
