Mine just held water in it and rotted the mild steel manifolds i first had.

Then i got a stainless one and they all cracked.

Now i have an Inconel manifold and it's not wrapped.

Same with motorbike exhausts, the current thing is ceramic coating have ben told.

I looked at going down the ceramic coating route, you can get it done for sensible money now.

I decided i did want to do it to my genuine VW Motorsport manifold in the end.
