  • Apologies if this should be in a Jeggings thread.

I'm after a nice pair of slim (ish) fit jeans with a bit of stretch in them. I have short legs, big calves and a smallish waist (30 sometimes 28). Something decent quality not made in a sweat shop would be nice. I don't want them tight on my legs but slim generally looks best on me and I'd like the stretch for movement/comfort.

It's been a while since I bought any jeans but from memory Nudie were all too tight, Levi's/Edwin have never fitted me very well and my Pherrows raw denim were too stiff/tight. Finisterre look like they have some nice cuts but all out of stock in my size.

    Any suggestions?

  • I have a pair of Svensson Magnus Thure selvedge. They have a bit of stretch. I'm normally a 31-32 but these are way too tight for me.

Picked them up for peanuts so happy with just postage from Sweden for them if you're interested?

  • Slim/stretch is over, unless you are taking a cheap punt on a mid 2020s revival

(But the only real answer is to go to a shop with a decent range and try them on)

  • Oni do a 15oz Stretch denim in a number of cuts. Relaxed tapered which appear fairly slim below but Denimio look to have stock of other cuts. Nice but pricey.
