Nah, fairly sure it was a pothole that I unavoidably hit as I went into a corner a bit too hard in the wet and I took evasive action as a surprise car appeared.
@gbj_tester interesting, I had kind of thought it was similar to inner tube patch glue, but I guess not?@cozey yeah I'm onboard with that. Had a good summer, oh well
Conti GP5k got a small sidewall tear that I sealed up mid ride, then glued later. After a couple of rides the glue gave up and then this last week I couldn't get it to stay up more than 5k. Got the plugs out and popped one in, got me home. Put some pressure in, couple of days later go into the shed to a jizzy puddle under the tire and the plug has come out.
I've tried popping another plug in, superglue Etc. and the Sealant keeps kind of dribbling out but not properly sealing.
Is the tire done for?
