These Clio 182 manifolds are beautiful...worth the £800 for looks alone surely.

Any recommendations for somewhere in South London to fit a reversing camera in a 2007 C-Max?
I have the camera and a suitable head unit. There are clearly leads under the boot liner for AV and power but I cannot see where they go to up front. They do not come out behind the head unit and not sure where/how the reversing switch is located so don't fancy pulling stuff out at random to do it myself. i have the Haynes manual, but it is not very helpful in this regard.

I used this mobile car electrician to sort out/ find an a/c fault. I’m SE and he came to the house. Seemed pretty good and solved the problem.
Edit can’t attach his details so here is his number Shannon 07592 637301

What sort of mileage are you talking about?
-

Ta, I filled out their web contact form.

I get all of that, but there's room for a more interesting design while maintaining the same slipperiness, even the same shape. Without shit-vents.

And yet the collective design budget of all the global car companies currently disagrees. Tesla's design, whether you're a fan or not, is the most efficient.
Maybe if you're able to deliver that design, you're sitting on a billion dollar idea!

Just in for a little rear end knock. 56k mileage Hilux, one careful owner. I think that sound deadening material poking out if the bonnet.

That needs an exorcist, not a detailer.

You know it's fast because some of the bits are purple.

Congrats! Enjoy it, I'm both jealous and not in equal amounts.

Headlamps are supposed to look like that, they're actually relatively new, Neil bought new units about 5ish years ago.

Currently 345 000 km's or 214 373 miles
I paid £2k for it so it was quite a bargain. Market price at this milage in Sweden is £3.5-4k. Perfect service history, 2 owners (I know the last one), very well looked after. The vast majority of the miles comes from 200km / 120 mile trips or longer.

What does 0.02-0.06 equate to irl?
0.1mpg? 1mpg? 10mpg?

Some older cars just don't have the right lacquer/UV protection, so they will always fade. You can delay the fade with wax and ceramic coating to add UV protection but it will always fade, like the Volvo has. Neil I think planned on having it resprayed if he'd have kept it, which I intended to do as well, but now is not the right time financially. The respray would add the right clear coat to stop it fading in the future. Obviously the problem with repeated machine polishing is the paint depth will get lower and lower until there's no red paint left.

• #60672
I've had a quote of 5kish to do the paint properly but there's a lot of extra costs involved because you don't want to put old trim on fresh paint, but then not all the trims are available, and that's the start of the rabbit hole.

No idea :)
But comparing it in percentages, going from 0.29 to 0.26 is probably quite hard, and 0.23 even harder
-
• #60674
The Mercedes CLA is/was allegedly also 0.23, although that's disputed by
Musk bootliTesla enthusiasts.@hugo7 What does 0.2-0.6 equate to irl?
Drag coefficients are really only fun for Top Trumps. What you really need is CdA (total drag) to know the actual energy lost to aero drag. Plus the efficiency of the drivetrain and and all the other bits is going to be as important for overall mpg (or its electric equivalent).

^ this is true.
Worth noting that the aero rims on the Tesla are worth about 5% in range all by themselves so aero really does deliver real world performance increases.
Fuck yeah!
