They don’t look like they’d be decent on a paved road. They look like an on/off road high-mileage tyre. But I guess it’s relative.

these are pretty well regarded tyres, I think, though I've never tried them - one thing to keep in mind is that the 700c version are not sold as tubeless ready. though I think most people do run them tubeless
