bought a bessa r3a, and the nokton 40mm 1.4 that came with it was described as having "slight fungus". it's just arrived and looks a bit more than "slight" to me, although it's my first experience with lens fungus
it was a relatively good deal for the body/lens, so can't decide whether or not to run a quick roll through to see if it makes a difference and hope it doesn't get worse, or just send the body/lens back?
i'd also assumed this was more of an issue with vintage lenses, so slightly concerned it was stored in a cave or something
lens was essentially free at the price i paid, but have just spotted there's also some fungus in the viewfinder, and a fuckload of dust where he's clearly tried to get at it before. time to get my money back
how much fungus is too much fungus?
