This is the first of the NHS workers I've given a bike to, who will be ditching the car as a direct result of getting a free bike. The fact it is a large, heavy, dangerous type of car
made it a win. I often feel intimidated by these vehicles and the way they are driven, so it was good to have a positive experience with a driver.
The project began in the first lockdown, I had a couple spare bikes knocking around and passed them on. Was prompted to help NHS workers specifically after stories of people on night shifts having bikes nicked.
All the bikes are one-off donations, this lovely GT just happened to be the best size I had for Chesney.
