FS: 54cm vintage ALAN bike (sold)

Selling my Alan bike. It's a 54cm. Some decent Campagnolo components on it.

Will include the Kryptonite lock and bracket in the sale (the bracket is held in place from slipping down by the bottle cage). The wheels have security pinhead locks so you don't need to lock them separately (will include key for this also). Both inner tubes have recently been replaced. The saddle/seatpost is a quickfix as someone stole my old ones (one of the screws on the seatpost is an ugly temporary job, you can change this at a bike shop). The bell bracket is missing a bell haha and some of the stickers have peeled.

All in all though it's a nice ride, the frame is alumiunium so pretty light and the Dutch style handlebars make it a comfy riding position. I've included a picture of what it looked like when first built in 2017 by Seabass cycles in case anyone did fancy restoring it.

Hello! Would this be suitable for a 5'7 female?

Hi!

The seat tube and top tube are both 54cm. I am 5'11 and the frame was a bit small for me. If you stood over the bike the top tube should not be touching you.

I'm 5'8" with the shortest legs in these islands. I'd never get less than 54cm.

Do you know what the tubing is?

It's ALAN, just Google it

It's their own Aluminium tubing.

did you keep the bits that were on it in Pic 1 ? brake levers, stem, quick releases etc ?

No i'm afraid not, the callipers are still the same though - Universal Mod. 77

Just an update on the seatpost bolts:

I have had the ugly large black male bolt and the original female bolt replaced with a smaller silver bolt from a bike shop. It's not ideal but it works. I have kept the original female bolt and this will be given to next owner.
