  • I'm trying to sign into a google account that someone has added me as a user to.

    It is saying;

    Couldn't sign you in
    Your sign-in settings don't meet your organization's 2-Step Verification policy.

    Any ideas?

    Ideally, I would like to try and figure this out before going back to the person who added me.

    Cheers.

  • Try changing your account settings to add 2-step verification. You'll probably have to add a phone number.

  • I'm a bit confused. I have my main/personal google account, let's call it hugo7@gmail.com then I have this new one, H7@new.com. My personal one had 2fa on.

    To set it up I tried to log out of hugo7@gmail.com and then log in to google using H7@new.com. In this case I have no ability to add/edit the 2fa settings, right?

    I have tried a second time by:

    1. checking the 2fa setting on my personal hugo7@gmail.com is on, and then adding the google authenticator, then
    2. adding another account (H7@new.com).

    I have also tried just adding the H7@new.com to my desktop Outlook.

    All still the same.
