I spent a week or so laminating PAR 2x4s to make my dream worktop, only for the whole thing to fucking twist on me. Then I over corrected with a plane and made the whole thing worse. Plan is in the spring to fix up the No.7 jointing plane I picked up off ebay then try to properly flatten the top (currently drops off considerably at one corner so a lot needs to come off the rest to make up for it).
Or start from scratch.
