There are Raceface rings at CRC for the thick end of £40 (been hovering over a 44t n/w for daaaays, here).

This has kind of made me decide to hit BUY on the CRC page - I can get a Raceface ring and a KMC chain for less than the Amber or Absolute Black, plus free shipping.

Ah crap. That Spa ring is exactly what I would/should have bought. Looks like it’s from the same people who make the Thorn double-sided s/s rings? I have one and it’s great.
So, I just bought a Race Face to get the bike built, didn’t really think about the branding because I’m all about function. < cough >
