Fuck my fat fingers. Yes it did! Sorry @Bainbridge ! Feel bad, accidentally being a cunt. Prefer intentional.

The obvious question is: What would Vesalius' Day Z character do about that door?
-
• #39829
I though his MO was leaving a pineapple where the telly used to be.

I have a couple of roof windows in my bathroom and they are great. Got them from lb roof windows and they didn't cost much.
I'll try and work out some pics that work later

Call that a match? Your fucking decorator must be blind! I'd ask for my money back.

What would Vesalius' Day Z character do about that door?
Most likely glitch through it and die randomly after carefully accumulating items over the past week

• #39837
You mean accumulating from killing team mates.

Looks great to me, what are you having as a shower screen? Would be a bit worried about steam messing with the roof window.

Dat bell doing over there?

The velux is the polyurethane version which is designed for high humidity areas. Should be ok, and there is a vent that we can have open for more ventilation if needed.
Showerscreen is a full length one on the right side. It's 1.2m long but I have a suspicion we will need a bathmat at the end of the shower tray to soak up some spray. If it's awful we can look at other options in the future but hopefully it won't come to that.

Depending how much a shower head use you probably will.

Looks very tidy. Also a decent sized room. Having a Niche is essential imo. Were you not tempted for a tiled on shower tray?
-
• #39846
We thought about it but I’ve heard a lot of leaks happen due to tiled shower areas. While it looks marginally better we would rather remove potential future issues. Same with the tile trim on the recess, it’s possible without (and looks a bit nicer) but that’s a weak point for water ingress.

Those tiles are great! Where are they from?

What is the process for finding out whether we need planning permission for a kitchen / diner redesign? Building footprint not being modified, but new windows and doors will be going in. Ground floor, semi, South Ealing. Cheers all.

You won't need planning permission for that. I suppose it wouldn't hurt calling the council but I really can't see why PP would be needed.
