Saw one of these Daihatsu Fortracks in deepest Bedfordshire yesterday, looked tiny but purposeful. Anyone know if they're any good?

If you're in the UK I reckon a jimny is a better shout due to the reasonable numbers sold and aftermarket parts/modding community.
Farmer favourite.. Reliable, good towing, and independent suspension. Slow and rust is an issue like most japanese cars of that era.
Fourtraks are pretty much indestructible, and are brilliant for towing, as well as getting through mud and snow. Loads more comfortable than a defender and does most things a defender can do. Brother has one as a farm truck, and it never gets stuck.
Their marketing slogan was "The best 4x4xfar". On that alone, I thought they were cool
