I don't bother with sound clips. Like all online selling there's some amount of smart buyers and smart sellers getting along with a few a**holes flailing around messing with the peace and calm.
I've sold a few hundred over many years and very few have gone wrong recently but in the beginning it was tricky.
Tips for discogs. I'm hardly a pro but I've been at it a while.
Don't be optimistic about grading or price. If you have 300 listed at keen prices you'll probably sell 10 per month, of course that number goes down if you only have 50 listed.
Have your packaging and labelling sorted. Every sale involves packaging, weighing and printing postage.
Use the paypal portal to pay for postage, you get a few pence off but it's worth it not to have to transfer addresses.
Use recorded delivery unless you can stand to lose a few records.
I've been at it a while, I'd say you will take about 3 years to shift 300 7" if you are pricing at the lower end and grading properly.
