• Well in other turbo news it raised a little smile to see this in the wild earlier. Parked near the Adam and Eve pub in Norwich. There is little I can say about it

  • 80’s flash back. My Dad said the MG version of that was the worst handling car he’d ever driven, literally bending in the middle, and he tested many. Not that it was designed for that. When I see one I just see Beige M&S socks.

  • Lets keep the BL car theme going.. MG Maestro is tick.

Glad to hear that poshwankercar is home

  • Just catching up, woah the MG Maestro is a time capsule, not seen one of those for yonks.

Those MG Maestro's talked didn't they? Basically Britain's version of Kitt from Knight Rider in the mid 80's, alas not featuring any of the cool shit of Hoff's one. Instead the BL one was a Health & Safety obsessed android reminding you to put your seatbelt on, and highlighting the numerous manufacturing faults . Youtube provides....

I imagine it scared the shit out of owners with a barrage of panicked warning messages, sounding like a downed fighter, Mayday! Mayday! Catastrophic engine seizure imminent! Flames approaching, please exit vehicle at your earliest convenience!

Not many classics spots recently, I think many have been tucked up for winter. These divide opinion, much as I love curvy cars there's still something catfish ugly about these that makes it not quite work for me. Looks best from this angle, and this one is in great condition, a Karmann Ghia

    Love this old Bimmer.

And here's something else I've not seen for ages. The narrow axles make them look really easy to roll, and it looks more suited to the railway than the road. I think @bq loves them, and this one looks well looked after, a Commer van.
