What kl said. Let those who currently live in the island of Ireland manage their own affairs, however that may turn out. For the time being, there is peace and relatively little violence, but you could already see the first hints at a flare-up when the 'Brexit' jitters hit.

I think commenting on that particular issue in Irish politics is generally worth avoiding entirely for non-Irish people.
