Shimano lever/SRAM calliper

Does anyone know if the shimano ultegra R8000 mechanical brake lever is compatible with the SRAM red Aerolink calliper. First offering up shows that the calliper does not move that much when operated.

I think SRAM levers pull less cable than Shimano, plus red brakes aren't as powerful as Shimano to begin with.
