A mate of mine had the square (older) version of this back in the day. I can confirm it was fully LETHAL to drive in the wet. Swapped ends faster than Belgian MEPs convention.
They're very cool though. Can't be many left.

I half expect to see one on the Retropower channel getting a restomod with a 2JZ conversion.
I think that white thing looks like a early/mid 70s Mercury (Ford). Been a long time since I've seen that emblem so not 100% sure.

Back onto the subject of El Caminos/Utes I have been waiting for this to reappear in my neighbourhood so I can capture it.
Lovely little thing but I know nothing about it.
