The Chater Lea front hub, with track nut. The drop out is attached to 1947 road forks for aligning purposes. It's not a chrome finish, there just isn't any paint on the forks.
Note the oiler in the end of the hub axle.
It's a beautiful looking hub and the nut fits snugly into the Chater Lea dropout.(I think it a Chater lea dropout).
