I reckon if your on a 5kg hillclimb bike your probably putting out enough power that you could worry the threads on an ali cog.
I actually think that anywhere that an ali cog is the next logical step in weight saving this is probably the case.
Probably. Is 6 bolt the way forward for the durability concerned aspiring weight weenie, I wonder.

Not sure about that, least not using an XT hub and steel axle I don't think.
