Dibs! Whereabouts are you based?

Hopeful 2nd dibs

Unlikely 3rd dibs, if two other buyers don't work out and you happen to be in Bristol!

The wheels are yours- just drop me a pm. I'm a tad reluctant to post them though, in the event that my second dibs chaps would be local/interested in collecting in person. Although, I have an idea you'd be London based, and I'm in Hendon, NW4, and this would probably work for both of us. Except that I'm out in the sticks of nw London, so you might not wish to trek all this way.

I've not received a Pm- are you still interested?

Apologies, I'm a teacher so haven't looked at my phone all day.
Yes! I need a second pair of 26" wheels so i don't have to keep on switching tyres. I can take a trip out to West London for sure if we find a day. I also don't mind sending through the money and picking up next weekend, if that would work for you?
Thanks,
Ste

Apologies to highjack your post, but as I see few people in line for these wheels...still have a similar rear wheel - Weinmann TM19 with SS cog, tube and tyre, all in good to excellent condition in my shed if anyone is willing to collect FOC/beer if you feel generous. Based in Slough.
See image here - only 26" one left, rest gone.

OK sure, we can work something out- but, as mentioned above, please pm me to discuss further, as I'm sure you can appreciate that I'd rather not leave some of the info in a public forum for all to see.

No worries, in this case you're welcome to make use of my thread, especially as you're not effecting my sale due to the fact that my wheels are/will be only available as a set, and I'm sure that many forumers would prefer to buy a single wheel by itself. Although, even if it did effect it, I'd probably still allow it (freebies are always a nice gesture) but for anyone else with the same idea, I'd prefer if they check with me first.

Yes sorry my bad, should’ve asked. Bag apologies for not letting you know before jumping into your thread.

Wheels now SOLD.
Anyone interested in the freebie wheel available please feel free to contact Foreigner65 as it would seem he still has it.
Here we have a nice 26" pair of wheels, with the front one incorporating a dynohub for powering lights. The front is a ZAC 2000 wheel with Shimano dynohub DH-3N31-NT. The rear is a new unused Weinmann DP19 with Quando hub to fit Shimano 8/9/10 speed cassettes. This is a pair of wheels I've decided to sell together. The rims are probably the same make (I believe the Zac brand is a subsidiary of the Weinmann company) and cosmetically they're very similar. They both have Shimano hubs and are recent or current models from Shimano. The rims are both good quality alloy ones, and both 26" sized and are 1.75" across, so can fit quite wide tyres. The front ZAC Ryde 2000 one is slightly better quality as it is a double eyeletted design. They have 36 hole rims and spokes are stainless steel for strength. The bearing cones and races of the cheaper wheel are in mint condition, having never been used. I'm unable to check the bearing condition of the other wheel due to the unusual dynohub design which doesn't look like any normal hub and I wouldn't feel comfortable tampering with for fear of damaging the dynohub workings which seem to be connected to the bearings. However the hub and rim generally have had an easy life, judging from the rim brake surface wear, newness of wheel, and hub feeling to the hand (when axle is spun) as though grease is present, so I'd say it's likely to be in very good or excellent condition. I'm also unable to test the dynohub operation, but it has a consistent notched dynamo-like feel when the axle is spun, which would seem to indicate that its functioning ok mechanically, and quite possibly is the same electrically too. The original wiring loom and connector is present, and looks to my eyes not to have been cut down for usage, so this would suggest its all ready to be set up once suitable lights are matched with it. Both wheels runs straight and true. All threads are good. The rear rim shows minimal wear and is perfectly circular. The front rim is untouched.
The price is £40, plus a courier cost should you not be able to collect them in person (preferred).
