Question out of interest, did you ride it, and if so, how did it compare to other high end steel frames in your experience?

Even down to the colour this is perfect. I hope it sells quickly so that I can stop thinking about it

I didn't really ride it, other than maybe into work a few times.

It rode like a well made, perfectly aligned steel frame should. To that extent it was nice, but not a revelation. The quality of finish was very good.

I had it for about two years when the guy I bought it off (who lives in Los Angeles) asked if he could buy it back. Since I didn't really ride it, I was happy to re-unite it with its previous owner.

That’s my old Xtracycle yea. The guy bought it back 6 months ago I guess. It was transported by a removals company.

By the looks of the photos it is exactly as I sold it, even the original tyres.

Do you know what size the frame was? Can’t find out if it’s a size small or from when they only did one frame size.

No idea. I’m 6ft (+/-) and it fitted me well. Bear in mind he hasn’t listed anything about the seatpost. It’s kinda stuck in place. Clearly it survived my use and his use.

I can’t answer any questions about it - it’s not my bike any more and I don’t have the listings or details any more. Not sure how helpful the guy will be.

Lookin sturdy! Weird, can´t tell what makes me like it...

There's a similar one in a car showroom here in Brentford. Not sure what's their plan with it (they've starred their walls with some cool vintage bikes like a couple of Hetchins etc)

That is gorgeous. And great value too. Tubing looks much nicer in real life than on the pictures.

I like the idea of having a bike in every metal. They're apparently horrifically flexy tho
