Is the front door in keeping with the same theme -
that's nice. I've got some Bakelite light fittings in my kitchen that my Dad cleared out of my Grandpa's workshop when my Grandparents had both died. (He was an electrician). Nice to have some of his old kit in the house.
My door also has an old doorbell with original mechanical bell you have to rewind after every time it's rung, but that came on the door. I think it might be 30s but couldn't say for sure. Lovely though. -
