Many thanks to Goodhead I took my running watch out of the watch winder on my way to catch the train this morning, it was exactly what I’d hoped. I will now bother setting the Sub to the precise time- when I had to set it each time I wore it, whilst walking briskly down a steep hill I always went with “within two minutes is good enough”, but now I can see the point in getting it to the second.
