I’m still not entirely convinced it’s not an elaborate fake.

When they return to the car park and matey’s auto has its roof caved in by a boulder of whale flesh - gets me every time.

A military veteran with explosives training who happened to be in the area warned that the planned twenty cases of dynamite was far too much, and that 20 sticks (8.4 lb or 3.8 kg) would have sufficed, but his advice went unheeded

Realistically though, if the opportunity arose to use as much dynamite as you wanted on a whale carcass, would you use the minimum required? Or would you go fucking HAM and absolutely annihilate the bastard?
